[UPDATE: I gather that Rupert Grint has arrived in Savannah. A few other posts on CBGB:

I haven’t had a chance to stalk Alan Rickman, Rupert Grint or any other actors watch any of the filming in public spaces of CBGB this past week, but my social media networks have been buzzing with sightings and occasional pics.
So here are some of the photos that I’ve run across. Photos posted to both Twitter and Facebook can be embedded into sites like this one with just a few clicks.
No Rupert Grint yet — or anyone else that I recognize. The shots so far seem to be of Hilly Kristal (Alan Rickman) before the club has even opened.
The piano moving scene is on Monterey Square, right next to Mercer House (famed for its role in the story that became Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil). There are some shots of Broughton Street, with the use of vacant lot. The first Twitter embed is in Congress Lane, just north of Broughton.
The movie has so far also shot in Johnson Square (I guess the live oaks won’t make the cut!) and of course along Congress Street, where the exterior of the club has been reconstructed.
Obviously, you can click on through these embeds to find out more about the original posters. I did not post all pics, btw — the Savannah Film Office has a nice gallery already up and will likely add more.
