UPDATE: This broadcast is over, but the audio will be posted. I’ll put that link when it’s available. What a brilliant idea for a performance — Patti Smith read from the romantic letters between O’Keefe and Stieglitz and did understated versions of many of her own songs: “Gloria” (sung as “Georgia”), “Because the Night”, and “People Have the Power” (do I have that title right?). She also did a great version of “Georgia on My Mind.”
