It’s always interesting each year to see how the various selections from the Savannah Film Festival fare in the Golden Globe and Oscar nominations.
As usual, the 2012 SFF did pretty well. Kudos to the festival organizers.
I’ve listed here all the recently announced film (no TV) nominees for the Golden Globes and used bold to identify those that were screened at the SCAD-sponsored Savannah Film Festival.
I enjoyed Silver Linings Playbook, which had sharp dialogue and great performances, but a formulaic plot. I’m a little surprised it got so many nominations.
