I saw all or part of more than 30 bands over the course of the Savannah Stopover, but I ended up buying just one CD: Quincy Mumford’s Speak, which you can sample and buy here.
The Asbury Park native and band The Reason Why played a couple of gigs here — one at Blowin’ Smoke and the one I saw outdoors at Congress Street Social Club on Saturday. It was a great afternoon of live music, perfect for Mumford’s mix of reggae, rock, and a dose of hip hop. Easy, upbeat, polished.
