Another post about a band from last weekend’d Savannah Stopover whose fortunes and music I’ll be following.
I had heard some good buzz about Quilt, which played at Locos on Thursday in the 10 p.m. time slot. I went into the show with no background at all, and ended up loving the trio’s mix of electronica and sometimes jammy, sometimes trippy pop-rock.

Founding members Shane Butler and Anna Fox Rochinski met while both were students at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Drummer John Andrews rounds out the band.
Here’s a video of “Secondary Swan” from the show in Savannah. There are a couple of other vids posted at The Boston Phoenix. The quality is obviously somewhat limited in videos like this shot in clubs set up performance rather than recording, but you can get a decent sense of what they’re up to.
