It’s an exciting day for Savannah music lovers!
I’ll have a lot more to say in the coming weeks about some of the acts booked for the 2nd annual Savannah Stopover, slated for March 7-10.
There obviously will be a lot more on the Savannah Stopover website. You can buy tickets there too; I bought a VIP pass again this year.
Today, the Stopover announced over 40 of this year’s bands. In the coming weeks we’ll get the rest of the bands — more than 70 will be on the final list — plus the detailed schedule of times and venues. Many of the acts will be en route to SXSW, which begins the following week (hence the name Stopover). Look for this year’s festival to include venues, parties, and other events that weren’t in last year’s lineup.
Here’s the list from a press release earlier today:
- The War On Drugs
- The Love Language
