For more on the great show at the Jepson on Friday night that’s the culminating event of TEDxCreativeCoast, check out my column today, the great piece in last week’s Connect Savannah by Bill DeYoung, or Bill’s excellent interview with Givers this week. I also wrote a post about Givers when they were announced as part of the lineup.
It’s sure to be a great night of music, all produced by the Savannah Stopover (if you haven’t noticed the hard work of Kayne Lanahan, Summer Teal Simpson, and others, you’ve been lying pretty low this spring). PBR is a sponsor and will be providing free beer (I hope not too much!) to anyone 21 and up who pays their $10 admission. The show is for ages 18 and up.
There are a few great free tracks of Givers floating around out there. Here’s “Up, Up, Up”, available for free download at Stereogum:

Here’s Givers performing “Up, Up, Up” at the 2010 Festival International de Louisiane. The audio isn’t mixed all that well, but it gives a sense of the verve we’ll see Friday night.

Here’s another live video of Givers — this one is from the 2010 SXSW:

I’ve written about Little Tybee before here and here:
Here’s “Nero”, live at the Goat Farm:

Also “Nero”, but in a great music video:
Here’s “History”, live:
I reviewed General Oglethorpe and the Panhandlers’ first album Whistle the Dirges here.
Here’s General O’s video of “Sick Sick Lover”, directed by lead singer Devin Smith, a graduating senior at SCAD:
