Some good news from the Twitterverse via actress Ashley Greene about CBGB, the movie about Hilly Kristal’s iconic NYC nightclub that was shot primarily in Savannah this past summer.
The Joel David Moore-directed film starts shooting in Savannah on Monday, Nov. 26. Moore recently spent time in Savannah starring as Joey Ramone in “CBGB”.

Re: Magazine is a pretty slick product that has now published three editions. It’s produced by college students in Savannah.
As I emphasized at the end of my City Talk column today, it’s remarkable that the SCAD-sponsored Savannah Film Festival has reached such a level of prestige and quality in just 15 years. But the festival could be better, and that’s what this post is about.
