After Thursday’s screening of the brilliant film Philomena at the Savannah Film Festival, I met up with a friend for a drink at the bar at the Marshall House — the go-to spot for festival attendees.
Then we made it over to the after-party at Belford’s, which was already thinning out by the time we got there.
And then a few of us got a late slice at Vinnie’s.
I tried to get into The Jinx for their Halloween lineup of cover bands, but — not surprisingly — the club was at capacity.
So I decided to wander for a few minutes along Congress Street and just take photos of the Halloween festivities. I know some of these people, but nowhere near all of them — and some of them in photos together don’t know each other either.
