I became a big fan of Anderson East after his gig last June at The Sentient Bean. It was a rich and soulful solo gig — just Anderson and his guitar. I’ve been following the Nashville musician and producer ever since.
About a month later, at Anderson’s urging, my friend Jason and I went to the Bean to check out The Vespers, a great band whose album Anderson produced.
Earlier today, I supported Anderson’s upcoming double album Flowers of the Broken Hearted through Pledge Music, which works pretty much like Kickstarter. When the project is fully funded, my credit card will be charged $25. I’ll eventually get a free download, a signed CD, and a t-shirt.
