Savannah acts performing all day benefit at Live Wire Music Hall for drummer Marc Cordray

Please note that Keep the Beat, a Benefit for Marc Cordray is today, Saturday, Feb. 25, from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Live Wire Music Hall.

Marc Cordray has played countless gigs in Savannah over the years, but his career and health are threatened by kidney trouble — he’ll be starting dialysis soon and needs a transplant. That’s according to the description on the event invite on Facebook.

I haven’t seen the actual schedule but there are some great acts performing: The Trainwrecks, The Hitman Band, Ray Tomasino & Michael McDougald, Greg Williams & Shane Baldwin, Wooden Nickel, Lauren Lapointe & Brenda Morie, Joe Nelson, The Accomplices, Jan Spillane & The Wayfinders, Thomas Claxton & The Myth, One Man Crazy.

There’s a $10 cover, which obviously goes to Cordray.
