Sanders Bohlke was one of the revelations for me at the inaugural Savannah Stopover in 2011.
Now the Stopover has announced that Sanders will be one of a handful of last year’s acts returning.
He’ll be playing Saturday, March 10 in the Telfair Academy Rotunda. That should be a sublime venue for him. Take a deep breath, quiet your mind, and check out a few tracks:
“Fighter Pilot”:
Fighter Pilot (live in a loft) from Sanders Bohlke on Vimeo.
“Wolves” live:
“Somewhere”:
And “The Weight of Us”:
Sanders will be playing just before Chelsea Crowell, granddaughter of Johnny Cash and the daughter of Roseanne Cash.
Take a listen to Crowell:
And a lovely take on “Will the Circle Be Unbroken?” on a crappy camera:
That’s a pair of shows that I’ll be attending for sure.
