I wasn’t traveling with a lens that would let me get a truly expansive shot of the sunset in Savannah last night, but the 50 mm worked pretty well.
These four images are not retouched in any way. Digital cameras can sometimes make extreme lighting conditions more dramatic through added contrast, and that happened slightly here. Still, this is pretty much what the sunset actually looked like last night.
All of these were taken in Ellis Square. In the 4th one, you can even see the vertical streams from the play fountain.
