Then we made it over to the after-party at Belford’s, which was already thinning out by the time we got there.

And then a few of us got a late slice at Vinnie’s.

I tried to get into The Jinx for their Halloween lineup of cover bands, but — not surprisingly — the club was at capacity.

So I decided to wander for a few minutes along Congress Street and just take photos of the Halloween festivities. I know some of these people, but nowhere near all of them — and some of them in photos together don’t know each other either.

Well The Jinx was also packed on Halloween night for its lineup of tribute bands.

It was a busy night around town — including Hyde Park on Hudson at the Savannah Film Festival (my review) followed by a fun party at Belford’s. After a late slice at Vinnie’s, we headed back to The Jinx for just a tiny sliver of the full lineup of acts.

That was the night that the great Savannah band GAM returned for an all-too-rare show at The Jinx, just before the traditional blood wrestling.

It’s a big rock and roll sound (a few tunes here) combined with the theatrics of charismatic lead singer Keith Kozel.
