As I noted in a previous post, I voted yes today.<\/p>\n<p>At the moment, the vote is 14,287 for and 11,104 against. That&#8217;s 56.3 &#8211; 43.7.<\/p>\n<p>In 2006, when the current SPLOST collection was approved, the vote was 14,277 for and 9,407 against. That&#8217;s 60.3 &#8211; 39.7.<\/p>\n<p>In conversations in recent days, I had had the impression that relatively few yes voters from 2006 were going to vote no this time around &#8212; but that was just an impression.
