From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stereosociety.com\/cbmerv.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Stereo Society<\/a>: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A very private person, Merv was reputed to hold an Oxford degree and at various times taught English and history.
