From the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theragbirds.com\/press\/\" target=\"_blank\">official bio<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nThe Ragbirds albums have received local and national praise, hailed \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Highly impressive!\u00e2\u20ac\u009d by USA Today and touted as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Astounding international eclecticism\u00e2\u20ac\u009d by Reveal Arts.  The Ragbirds were formed in 2005 with the release of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Yes Nearby.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d  2007\u00e2\u20ac\u00b2s world-travel themed \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Wanderlove\u00e2\u20ac\u009d was Homegrown Music Network\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s #1 selling album in the fall of 2008. The 2009 international release of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Finally Almost Ready\u00e2\u20ac\u009d saw the band invade Japan with the single \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Book of Matches\u00e2\u20ac\u009d reaching #1 on the charts in Osaka. In 2010 The Ragbirds reached yet another milestone in their young careers when they independently marketed and sold their 10,000th album.<\/p>\n<p>The Ragbirds have performed in over 30 states to a tune of 150+ shows a year.
