I just found out about this a few days ago, when I finally asked one of the security guards at Savannah’s downtown Kroger about the seemingly endless construction just inside the front door. And today there’s a sign:

It looks like Savannah’s newest Starbucks will be opening really soon. I’ll have more to say about his in an upcoming column or post.
