As noted on the A-Town Get Down website, the event is named in honor of Alex Townsend, a young artist and musician who died in an auto accident in 2010.

The detailed schedule has Loudon Wainwright III playing at 5:45 p.m., with a number of good acts capping the night, including Word of Mouth, Eric Culberson Blues Band, and Walter Parks & Swamp Cabbage.
