Other elements have already been seriously challenged, even by the Georgia Restaurant Association. It seems there was little political groundwork laid to rally support:

Mark, what’s happening in that case is that Zunzis probably has a “hybrid” license, so they’re designated a restaurant until a defined hour and then technically become a bar. The difference under the revision would be that even establishments that continue as restaurants and are obviously never bars (like Foxy Loxy) would also have to expel under-21 patrons by 10 p.m.

I’ve been forced to leave before I finished my food at Zunzi’s before. It’s because of the open container laws. I think the smarter thing would be to push for an 18 drinking age. It would boost sales like crazy, lower the need for police to be active on every street corner looking for college kids, and it makes it easier for groups to have a DD.
