The first article, “Talk of the South” by longtime Savannah Morning News business writer Mary Carr Mayle, covers a variety of economic developments and industry leaders, as well as quoting from Mayor Edna Jackson. As in the rest of the section, the photos are gorgeous.
The second article, “Good Time City” by longtime Connect Savannah editor Jim Morekis, gives an excellent insider’s view of local culture, including bars and restaurants.
Full page advertisers include Gulfstream, Visit Savannah, SCAD, Georgia Ports Authority, Georgia’s office of economic development, Wet Willie’s, Armstrong Atlantic State University, Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, and Georgia Southern University. Half page advertisers include Visit Tybee, Savannah State University, Byrd Cookie Company, and Thomas & Hutton.
