Personally, I think drug tests in the workplace are generally unconstitutional — always so if employees are getting satisfactory reviews and do not handle dangerous equipment.

But the idea of on-the-spot, regular auditing of accounts is a good one. I’d be interested to hear if the auditing department ever does such things unannounced or always does departmental audits on a specific schedule.
