Savannah Dance Festival launches Kickstarter campaign for Sean Curran Company show

The headliner on Saturday, Oct. 13, will be Sean Curran Company at the Lucas Theatre. The SDF now has a Kickstarter campaign for the relatively modest sum of $7,500 to help fund that show.

Which stars are still in Savannah for “CBGB” filming?

I had the good fortune to run into Rupert Grint yesterday (Friday) in Ellis Square, as he walked with his assistant back to their hotel.

The female models include Ataui Deng, Alina Baikova, Brittany Burke, Daniela DeJesus, Frida Gustavsson, Ginta Lapina, Lais Ribeiro, Milou Sluis, Nadine Ponce, and Romee Strijd. The male models include Clint Mauro, David Agbodji, Garrett Neff, Lucho Jacob, Ryan Kennedy, and Vlad Ivanov.

The scene you’re seeing here appears to be one in which The Dead Boys (Rupert Grint as Cheetah Chrome, Justin Bartha as Stiv Bators, and Bronson Adams as Johnny Blitz) storm out of CBGB into the street. Once they exist the shot, it continues with some sort of animated discussion between Hilly Kristal (Alan Rickman) and Merv Ferguson (Donal Logue).

Express fashion show will take over Monterey Square on Friday evening

Express will be shooting its latest advertising campaign centered on a live, high end Runway Show near Monterey Square this Friday. The event is free and open to the public.
