Cool Savannah happenings: “No Chaperones!!!” at The Butcher

SCAD students Justin Harris and Lomaho Kretzmann created No Chaperones!!!, an art exhibit and happening at The Butcher, an art gallery and tattoo studio on Bay Street here in Savannah.

Like with so many other exhibits and performances that I’ve attended and sometimes written about lately, this one featured a great spirit that tapped into the DIY energy that has pervaded the city in recent months.

So why not have a masked guitarist in the corner and a small baby pool in the middle of the gallery for green sliming volunteers periodically throughout the night?

Maybe they needed some chaperones after all . . .

I was definitely glad I took my camera too, especially since words are now failing me.
