Cool Savannah happenings: Nicholas DeBruyne’s Architecture and the Absurd

This great show by Nicholas DeBruyne was only up for a week, so you’ll have to be content with these images — unless you want to track Nicholas down about making a purchase.

Or you can check out Nathan “Bob” Jones’ great photos from the opening reception.

Nicholas’ Architecture and the Absurd looked just about perfect in the unrenovated second floor of the Moon River Brewing Company on Bay Street. It’s allegedly haunted up there, but it’s definitely beautiful.

This was yet another show curated and promoted largely by Casey Belogorska (who also curates the shows at Local 11 Ten) and Arthur Kouwenhoven.

I bought one of the pieces pictured below — “The (De)Constructing City”, the mixed media piece with the cityscape in the background.
