Savannah-based band General Oglethorpe and the Panhandlers starts their first major tour today with a gig in Jacksonville at Burro Bar. From there, they’ll be working their way west to Texas before doing a big loop back to Savannah. Tonight’s show and about half the tour will be with The Popheads, a fun rock band that I once caught with General O at The Wormhole here in Savannah.
