I have no idea what will happen to the polls in Georgia over the next month, but I expect Romney to stay solidly in the lead nationally.

Among likely Republican voters, Gingrich leads Romney 45 to 32, with none of the other candidates breaking double digits.
Among all registered voters, Romney has an unfavorable rating of 42%. Gingrich is at 41%.
In a hypothetical general election matchup, Gingrich would beat Obama 50% to 44% with 6% undecided. Romney would beat Obama 51% to 43% with 6% undecided. McCain beat Obama 52% to 47% in Georgia in 2008, but I should note that black voters accounted for 30% of the electorate in that race. This SurveyUSA poll assumed that black voters would be only 26% of the electorate in the 2012 general election. That suggests that Obama would likely be on track to get about the same percentage that he got in 2008, at minimum.
