Savannah Stopover announces key dates, new logo, new Facebook page


There’s not a lot of final news in this post, but I thought some of you would be interested in some of the information in an email this afternoon from Savannah Stopover founder and CEO Kayne Lanahan.

Savannah Stopover has a new Facebook page, which you can find and like here. The regular website is here.

The bands will be announced on January 17th. Over 40 bands are confirmed with many more in the works (Grimes and Born Gold are already confirmed). The schedule by day and by venue will be announced on February 1st.

Savannah Stopover also has a new logo designed by BFG Communications.

Tickets can be purchased here. Daily passes are available as are $75 passes for all four days (March 7-10). I plan to buy a VIP pass ($120) as I did last year.

Quite a number of bands from the first Stopover last March made my personal highlights of new music in 2011.
