I don’t believe they should get more until they start spending more sensibly. Far too much waste in current spending patterns. Splost referendums seem to be an excuse to create government spending, whether it’s needed or not. (ie., recently the school board proposed a gigantic E-Splost budget before deciding projects to build with it – the “because we can” syndrome.) Too frequently, promised projects never get started and rarely is a project completed within budget or on time before they come asking for more. “No” works for me. Even if it’s just on principle.
