Not much to this post, just some shots of the Savannah College of Art & Design’s annual International Festival, which is a great, colorful event that shuts down a block of Broughton Street one Saturday every spring.
A lot of private schools have reputations for a lack of diversity, but that’s never really been true at SCAD. And you can sure see that in these photos.
Joining the various student groups were some other college kids — I ran into some that I see at Armstrong — and lots of locals and some very pleased looking tourists. Some of Savannah’s best ethnic restaurants were also set up. I spent $5 on some excellent chicken tikka masala from Taste of India.
