Many view them as something of a puppet organization which serves to either rubber-stamp corporate development wishes, or merely pull their punches on sensitive matters which might have a negative impact on their board members’ bottom line. This whole situation would seem to imply that is in fact the case on at least some level.

I have heard positive things about Will Berson, and it may turn out this is actually a good move for him – away from folks who may not truly have the best interest of the environment at heart…
